The Story - On the 10th of October 2020, my Dad was rushed to hospital after experiencing a severe seizure in China. For several months he was bed-bound, in a coma and on a ventilator after contracting a severe lung infection. For a while, his health insurance covered the cost of his medical treatment. However, this soon run out, and my grandparents had to begin coving his care cost. This cost was running between £300 and £500 per day, which quickly racked up. Eventually, after a lot of work, we were able to fly him home, but due to his condition and COVID19, the flight cost approximately £90,00! To pay for this, my grandparents have had to empty their pension. In a last-ditch attempt to raise some more money to cover their cost, I am hosting a raffle.
