This raffle has been conducted to raise money for a local community project! I work for a nursery in Liverpool, which is a charity run nursery. Our funds are generally spent on every day essentials, and compulsory educational essentials.. however, one thing we lack is the funds to create a beautiful outdoor area for our children! As much as we would love to create environment where our children can grow, learn and play outdoors it’s just unmanageable within our current budget! Our current outdoor area is in need of some major improvements! After recently undergoing some outdoor training we have decided that now more than ever our children would benefit from outdoor play! Due to the current covid circumstances a lot of our children have been stuck at home for almost 12 months, we would love nothing more than to give them the space to stretch there legs, whilst learning and developing. Outdoor play allows our children to indulge in their natural curiosity, they can explore the natural environments and expand how they use their imagination! Having fun will not only encourage our children to engage with their education, but will improve their physical fitness too!! Playing outdoors is an exciting sensory opportunity for the young ones, allowing our children to develop their gross motor skills, and enhance the use of their fine motor skills! And on top of that will improve their well being, quality of sleep, and boost their appetite to help meet dietary requirements!
