The guitar has a nitrocellulose Shell Pink finish so will continue to age over time! This comes with an amazing hand made germanium treble booster pedal that really fits the vibe of this guitar. Around 76% of women diagnosed with Breast Cancer will survive for more than 10 years, and this number continues to grow. By raising money for research, we can make that number higher and higher, giving people a better chance of long term survival. The Pink Guitar Project is collaborating with some amazing guitar and pedal builders to make wonderful pink gear to sell for charity; there will be a few pink guitars, several pink fuzzes, a board full of pink pedals and more! Some will be sold via auction, and some will be raffled off like this! This is a Stratocaster style guitar made using a licenced Fender neck. It is painted in Shell Pink using nitrocellulose paint and relic'd to a heavy relic. It has a rosewood fretboard with a 9.5" radius, and vintage spec Gotoh tuners. The pickups are a fantastic new set from Sunbear Pickups called 59/69. This is because the neck pickup is spec'd to be like a later 50's set and the middle and bridge spec'd to be like late 60's pickups. This gives you some unique flexibility and sound options! The Long Island Sounds Germanium Treble Booster is a beautiful pedal made from rare parts - mullard, mundorf, allen bradley - and can give you a number of tones, from really Clapton-esque big blues tones to clean glassy tones.
