Artist Sam Edwards took to Twitter recently looking for non-league football clubs who would like him to create paintings of their ground, free of cost. The idea would be that the artwork could then be raffled or auctioned off by the club to help raise funds during the Coronavirus pandemic! We were one of the lucky clubs chosen by Sam and the painting of our Walesby Lane home that he has produced is stunning and proved to be really popular when it debuted on social media. We are now raffling off the original, hand painted A4 art work that Sam created! Perfect for anyone associated with the club, the artwork would look great in an office or domestic setting. Tickets are just £1 each and ALL MONEY goes into the club! Though we have not suffered financially as much as some clubs during the pandemic, we have missed out on the chance to do our usual fundraising events (Golf Day, Gentleman's Evening etc.) so any money raised would be greatly appreciated.
