Win 'Andrew Dunbar Forever'

Sweepstake Summary
Andrew Dunbar, what a guy, eh? He enhanced and enriched so many peoples lives, just by being around them. His humour and positive demeanour was infectious, and that's what made me love him. On the run up to Christmas past I wanted to honour him in some way, so got to thinking of things that we could do. I had the idea to ask my wife, Clare, to create a piece of art in memory of himself. Clare is a bespoke artist who creates beautiful works of art from her own pressed flowers and I thought that it would be fitting to have something created for Dunbar which was as colourful and beautiful as he was. The ASIWYFA boys had an amazing image created to commemorate Dunbar last year, of him swan-diving into the sea in Portrush, with their class triangle logo super-imposed onto it. The result was a very cool image and the perfect one to use for the piece we wanted to create. With their approval, Clare got to work on the most emotional piece she has worked on so far, and as you can see from the attached images, I think it turned out beautifully. We wanted to make this piece for two reasons; the first being, of course, to remember and celebrate the life of one of our most loved friends and the second being to raise some money for a very worthwhile charity which Dunbar, and all the ASIWYFA lads feel very passionate about. That charity being PIPS. PIPS are an amazing charity who are there to provide support to individuals who are considering, or who have at some point considered, ending their own lives. PIPS also provide support to those families and friends who have been touched by suicide. This is definitely something that Clare, myself and my entire circle of friends believe in deeply, and being able to have the chance to raise money for PIPS, raise awareness of the charity in some small way and also create something for the Golden Haired Boyo himself, is extremely gratifying.
1 Prize
This one of a kind piece, made from hand picked and pressed flowers will be up for raffle. The picture size is A4 and is framed within a double mounted frame. The raffle will be held on Raffall and will last for 4 weeks. Tickets will be priced at £5 each with all proceeds going straight to PIPS. Whenever the 4 weeks are done, we will use this platform to pick a winner at random. Once the results are through we will post 'Dunbar In Flowers' out to that person. (Please note that we cannot post outside of the U.K., due to the piece being made of real flowers and most countries restrict flora and fauna at customs) We will have prints available of the piece, after the raffle is finished, with proceeds also going to PIPS. So, if anyone is interested please get in touch. This has been an emotional process which I feel will be very productive and worthwhile. As I said recently; 'Anything in memory of Andrew Dunbar is good.' I wish the best of luck to anyone who buys a ticket for this beautiful work and ask that you share this on whichever platform you use. The further this reaches the better.
