Local Lichfeldian, Stuart, has revived his interest in painting during lockdown and what better subject to paint than the Lichfield Canal? But he's not painted it as we know it, Stuart has tried to merge the present with a parallel universe where the canal had never been abandoned. One day it might look very similar. This is the second of Stuart's paintings and he has donated it to the trust in order to raise funds for us, funds that we have missed through not being able to hold any fundraising events. Get your raffle tickets and you could be the proud owner of this original painting of Gallows Wharf.
