This Easter we are raising funds for The Honeypot Children's Charity, a charity Solent has worked very closely with for many years. For those not familiar with Honeypot, more information about the good work they do can be found on their website (https://www.honeypot.org.uk/what-we-do) We have six great Easter-themed treats up for grabs, from Hot Chocolate Bombs, to a bottle of specially distilled Easter Gin! So, please donate generously! It would be awesome if we could reach our target of £250! All of the money from the ticket sales goes directly to Honeypot. The raffle closes at 12:30pm on the 31st March, and winners will be notified by email. Prizes can then be collected from the Christchurch office or posted to your home address. Inspired by nostalgic memories and the excitement of an easter treasure hunt, this special edition gin has been lovingly handcrafted in Salcombe by a team of distillers, in a traditional copper pot stil, using only the finest botanicals sourced from around the globe. This gin pays tribute to the copper hulled Salcombe fruiters and their voyages of discovery across the Atlantic, guided by the easterly trade winds. Easterly has tangy citrus notes on the nose from fresh orange peel, followed by hints of rich vanilla, sweet cherries and a smooth, chocolatey finish, from organic cacao nibs, reminiscent of Easter eggs. Best served straight from the freezer over ice or in a G&T with a twist of flamed orange peel to take you on a journey down memory lane.
