Calling all football fans, I am giving the lucky Raffall winner a 10% stake in South Shore Football Club Ltd which will be based in the South Shore district of Blackpool, Lancashire. This is a unique prize, the original South Shore Football Club was founded in 1879 but disbanded in 1899 when players merged with Blackpool FC but the original team reached the lofty heights of the Quarter Finals of the FA Cup! (They also played matches against Aston Villa, West Brom, Leicester and Notts County) We are an Amateur Adult Football Club, a phoenix club, risen from the ashes of the former club. We are in talks on two fronts, we are aiming to secure a league spot in the West Lancashire League - Division 2 starting in the 2022/23 season but there is a lot of work to do beforehand. We are also speaking with Blackpool Council to secure as regular spot on the soon to be built 3G astro pitch at the Common Edge Playing Area - part of the Blackpool Airport region regeneration zone Sports Village. When you become a part owner of the Football Club you can be as passive or as involved as you want to be, all suggestions are welcome as it is a grassroots club. You will become a 10% common shares shareholder in the company. SS FC have applied for a government grant of over £100k to fund the operations side of the club which will involve hiring 5 staff for the year, two coaches and admin staff to help run the club, the grant will go mostly into their training, kit and equipment if successful. This is pending, there is no guarantee of funding. We have a physical address at Blackpool Enterprise Centre, Lytham Rd, Blackpool which will be utilized for the admin staff. The money raised by the raffle will go 100% into the club, I am working voluntarily for the club and will not be taking a wage. I was born in Blackpool and I have a passion for the area. Club Crest and Kit. The original club of 1879 had claret and black hooped kits, we have chosen claret and white with a sand collar. These colours are modelled on the South Pier colours in Blackpool. The crest is of a Carousel Horse, which was a fairground attraction on the south pier sands of 1896. Former Club History: In 1885 the club reached the Quarter Finals of the FA Cup and on the way they beat Notts County, one of the oldest clubs in the world = 2:1 We will model the club on the same ideas as Hashtag United, we aim to have an adult mens and womens team as well as an ESports team, first things first though as we have to establish a first team. You will be give 10% of Common shares in South Shore Football Club Ltd - Company Number 13320882, you will be registered as a beneficial owner of the company. You will own part of the company. We will value your input on all matters of the club and we will inform you of all major changes that happen at the club before they happen. You will essentially be a grassroots club owner in part. We will carry out all of the administration tasks to make you a beneficial owner of the club or even a company you nominate. It is entirely up to you. As an alternative if you are not comfortable being a beneficial owner we can also provide a written contract that you will benefit for 10% of the club. Financially if the club is successful then so will you be.
