This very rare Daftmill 2005 Inaugural Release is the first bottling from the family owned and and operated seasonal Lowland Distillery, located in the Kingdom of Fife. Taking care of the farm is the family’s main propriety so whisky distillation only takes place June to August and November to February. Distilled in 2005 and bottled in 2018 from casks Nos. 05/02, 05/03 & 05/07 Limited Edition Individually Hand Numbered Bottles. This is bottle 590 of only 629. Harvested from the farm’s Dam Park and Curling Pond fields on 31st August 2004, the chariot barley was among the last to be malted in Fife by Robert Kilgour & Co before they closed Founded in 2005 Daftmill is developing quite a following, with its light , Lowland style. The small scale production and limited numbers of bottles make this an ideal investment whisky.
