This isn't just for the prize, you will be helping me to raise money for private healthcare, possibly in the US if I can raise enough for doctors to look at my condition as it can't be treated/managed or helped in the UK due to no specialists or experts in that field. I have ehlers danlos syndrome and my pain is now becoming unbearable. I can't continue to feel in this much pain with my body never able to rest. I have suffered since I was 5 years old and I am now 34 years old. My joints sublux and dislocate on a daily basis. My head feels to heavy for my neck and this is because my neck is becoming weaker and I now need to proactively manage this and do everything I can to prevent further degeneration of my skeleton, along with looking at what care plan needs to be put in to place and if that means surgery then so be it now as I can't continue the way I am. I haven't even told my family about this as I want to stop whinging to them and having bad days where my husband has to look after me and I can't do anything. On top of that I also suffer with hemochromatosis and I need to fully understand what this means and look into how this will affect me and potentially my eds.
