You will be aware that over the last few years we have worked with the Dalton Active Sports Hall management board to raise funds to install an artificial pitch on Dowdales old tennis courts. This space will be multi-purpose and be bookable by the community (out of school hours and during holidays) and utilised by the students in school time. We have secured the majority of the funding through successful bids and through, very kind, donations from local business. Also, students have supported this through fundraising last year in school. We are planning to begin the installation in the spring 2022 and just have the final monies to raise. We have lots of raffle prizes kindly donated but local businesses and the wider Dowdales Community. Please, buy a raffle ticket to help to make this very exciting project a reality.
