At just £5 a ticket for prizes worth hundreds of £’s, we've pulled no punches in pulling together a raffle you don't want to miss. By taking part in this raffle you’ll be helping some young Leeds karateka from Ichiban Karate attend the upcoming 2022 WUKF World Championships in Florida. Ichiban Dojo is home to the Ichiban team of Karateka a diverse group of kids from some of the most socio-economically deprived areas of Leeds. These kids have been given a chance to break the mould and get out there and showcase their skills. The squad is made up of children between the ages of 6 -15 all of which are training at least 4-5 times a week in preparation for the championships. At almost £2,000 per competitor, attending the championships will not be an option for any of the athletes without a significant fundraising effort. To get these children to Florida the club and parents are coming together and have said, we will fund raise, we will wash cars, we will raffle and bake till the day the kids fly out if it means talented kids from deprived areas, from diverse backgrounds get a chance to make a difference!
