We're so excited to announce that the Little Gem Coffee Spring Raffle in aid of @elmbridgecanoeclub. It's a fantastic fund raising event supported by local businesses to give a little back! Local sports clubs are right at the heart of our community, keeping us active and supporting our kids. The canoe club is a busy riverside club and quite a phenomenon. Run by volunteers, they welcome children of all levels AND produce racing competitors at the highest level. Did you know they have trained 29 junior European or World medallist's at sprinting since 2000? WOW 🤩 Last year's Valentine’s Raffle raised over £2000. The funds contributed to projects such as a brand new K4 boat for the junior girls team, new flooring in the club house and floodlights to the outside training area! This year we are fund raising for a new landing stage. A critical structure on the river bank enabling everyone to get in and out of the river safely. The existing wooden landing stage has seen better days and seriously needs an upgrade. We were humbled by the support we received from local businesses, in offering prizes and by the swell of positivity and goodwill it achieved. Not only did we raise much needed funds, but we helped connect locals to our local businesses and had a lot of fun along the way! Thank you for all your support! 😊
