Poppy is a CZ125. She was bought by Wilberforce College as a project for the students of their Engineering Department. The students have put months of love and attention into Poppy and restored her back to her former glory whilst including some amazing touches of their own Poppy has been designed in memory of Trooper FRANK LING 56th Regt, Reconnaissance Corps, R.A.C. who died on 16 May 1944 Age 20 and is buried in Cassino Cemetery, Italy. Frank is the uncle of Wilberforce College photography teacher, Charlotte Jenner. Poppy will be ridden in the Hull Distinguished Gentleman's Ride on May 22nd 2022. This global event taking place in over 700 venues in aid of Prostate Cancer Research and Male Mental Health has already raised over thirty million dollars worldwide for these causes of which Hull has so far contributed £22,000. She will then be raffled off with all proceeds going to the Hull 4 Heroes & The Veterans Village.
