After my dad was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer of the larynx in December 2021, my family has come to understand the importance of a Macmillan nurse. It was for this reason, we decided to take up the 'Snowdon at Night' challenge to raise funds for MacMillan. The family has recently been gifted a signed Ilkay Gundogan shirt to help raise some more towards our current fundraising total for MacMillan, at over £2,250. We hope to make a Manchester City fans day upon winning this item, whilst raising more money for MacMillan to keep providing their vital services to families like mine, dealing with cancer.
