Raffle Summary

Freyja is a 57ft narrowboat, with a beam of 6ft 10inch. We have had Freyja for 18months and she has been great to us, giving us hours of enjoyment and many happy memories, as well as friends and family. For us, it's time for a change of boats, as we understand more around what will suit our needs. Freyja is ready to go as a live aboard, or as a leisure boat. We have decided to raffle Freyja as we have loved our time on the water so far, and are aware of how many others wish to also make the move, but don't have the capital to begin their floating journey. We are excited to give people this opportunity. Specs: Freyja is a tradition styled narrow boat with classic layout. From the stern you have a deck with 2 suicide seats. This leads to the engine room, houseing the recently sercviced, lovely buhk dv20 engine, which is strong on the inland waterways. It also houses the 4 Trojan t105 batteries and a victron multiplus 1600w (inverter and charger). You then move into the shower room which has a shower, sink and Thetford cassette toilet. (Located in a handy position when you need to go, while cruising!) From here you have the bed area with a full sized double bed, beautifully light during the day with side hatches either side, giving a lovely breeze in the summer months. Moving forward again you meet the middle of the boat which has 2 wardrobes (one which has a colrifier and a wabasto heater (wabasto produced hot water and runs the 3 radiators). This area has a dining table and a further cupboard. From Here you moving into the galley, fitted with a full sized gas cooker and a large wash basin, plenty of pantry space in a charming rustic wood design. Cupboards below house a fridge freezer. Then into the cosy living area which has a TV, sofa and more storage, as well as a multi fuel stove. You are then out of the front doors onto the deck which can sit 4/5 people. On the roof is 600watt worth of solar, which we lived off completely in the summer months. Recently blacked in August 2022 and anodes are looking strong. BSS until 2025 X2 19kg gas bottles (1 calor + 1 flo) 1600watt inverter generator included. Due to the method of sale the boat will be sold as seen, however we are happy to support fully with any questions you may have along the way. The boat will come without a mooring and will need to be collected with in a week of the raffel being drawn. If you are new to boating, we are more than happy to show you how it all works and how to drive the boat. Best of luck to all who is buying a ticket! We really are excited for all that are entering. If you have any further questions, I will be more than happy to answer them

This was a very disappointing experience, though I know it was meant well. We’ve had a very emotional few days, slightly softened by the fact we are reimbursed. When entering I knew there was a chance it could fall through,...
