To raise vital funds for the development stage of our exciting 'Just 14 The Movie' project we have commissioned a series of paintings from renowned Staffordshire artist Sue Verity. The first painting is of the great Aston Villa manager Ron Saunders and captain Dennis Mortimer, showing the 1980/81 League Championship trophy to the hoards of Aston Villa fans from the balcony of Birmingham Town Hall. The unique painting with splashes of claret and blue was pained by Sue in August of this year. This is the original painting and comes with signed certification (estimated value of painting is around £3500) . Only 1,981 (the year of the title) tickets will be sold. 100% of profits from the raffle will go in the development fund for the raffle. Captain Dennis Mortimer has very kindly offered to sign the painting. So hopefully this will be done in the coming weeks. Further examples of Sue's amazing work can be found at verityart.co.uk.
