Each year during Ghost Week we made a small edition of rogue Ghosts which can be found haunting locations around the city. This year there are just seven. The Seven Spectres have been hand carved by Ghost Merchant Mr Ord. Each is very unique in character and appearance and they were made to somehow relate to the locations that they can be found in. Folk tales of and ghost stories have informed the carving of the Seven Spectres. In order they are: The Christ Church Spectre The Bootham Bar Spectre The Bishophill Spectre The Langton Lane Spectre The Ketmongergate Spectre The Fairfax Spectre The River Ouse Spectre They are taller than our standard Ghosts at 11cm and are finished with watercolour wash. This year we are supporting The Trussell Trust and 95% of the money raised through ticket sales will go directly to this charity. The Trussell Trust is a charity who support a nationwide network of food banks and provide emergency food and support to people locked in poverty. They actively campaign for change to end the need for food banks in the UK.
