We have decided to raffle a ghost from our personal collection in aid of DBA UK. The first £17 will be retained to stand the cost of the ghost for my own collection purposes and details regarding postage are listed below :) Original box and tissue paper also included. I am running the Great North Run in September - my first ever half marathon - in support of DBA UK. My cousin William is 14 years old and suffers from a rare bone marrow failure disease called Diamond Blackfan Anaemia. He receives regular blood transfusions every 3 weeks in order to keep him alive. He also has various other medical procedures and receives treatment for the build up of iron in his body caused by all the blood transfusions. DBA UK is a small charity and relies on a very small number of people to fundraise to provide money to fund vital research into this disease. It also provides important support to families while they go through the difficulties of battling DBA. William is affected by this illness every single day of his life and we would love to support the charity that has supported all of his family so much over the years since William was only a few months old. I will cover postage within the UK, but I am happy to post worldwide if you are willing to pay the difference in cost!
