Matthew Greenan, aka The Stone Ranger, is a Spireites supporting Peak Park Ranger. He also hand carves stone to make uniquely individual work pieces. Matthew contacted the family of Ernie Moss and offered to hand carve a unique piece, in Derbyshire Stone, of the Chesterfield FC crest, with any proceeds going towards helping to extend the Chesterfield FC Memorial Garden and install a permanent memorial for Ernie, who opened the garden along with Jamie Hewitt almost ten years ago. The value of the hand carved piece, which Matthew is set to create from 10am on Sunday 4 February, taking around five to six hours, would be around £450 and you have the opportunity not only to watch it being carved live via Matt’s YouTube Channel (www.youtube.com/@TheStoneRanger) but also to win it via this raffle, with tickets costing £5 each (you can buy as many as you like) with all monies raised being ring-fenced for the memorial.
