Raffle Summary

We are raising money to purchase a portable defibrillator for use within our pre school and on trips. Minutes make the difference between life and death Each year in the UK, 60,000 sudden cardiac arrests happen out of hospital, making it one of the nation’s biggest killers. It kills quickly. Too many people die at home or work because they don’t receive defibrillation in time. Before now, AEDs (automated external defibrillators) were too expensive for families to own, and for businesses and communities to make defibrillators available everywhere they’re needed. CellAED® have helped solve this problem. CellAED® is the world-first handheld, smart, personal AED. Not only is CellAED® easy to use and carry, it is also more affordable for home, community and business use. We will purchase one of these life saving devices as soon as we have raised the funds. They are around £370 to purchase plus yearly membership for necessary replacements of around £150 per year.
